I'm not watering
the plants today
even though
they're overdue
I'm not washing
the dishes
or making
the bed
I'm going nowhere
near the broom
No nothing productive
will get done today
I'll just watch the
clock
tick the seconds
away
Because last night
all I wanted
to do
was get a good nights
sleep
but my brain
dallied
at that task
too
