81/365 - Giddap

The rains came
in the middle
of the night
Each drop a caress
tickling bright green stems
Trickling to the ground
where callow roots
sprawl
Dawn breaks the rain
a tender touch
parts the clouds
and the suns rays
shine through
Seeking out
delicate leaves
And with it comes
a galloping breeze
"grow"
it seems to say
grow bigger
everyday
