The screaming starts
at six AM
The birds call out
let dawn begin
The cacophony continues
with the rooster crows
Wake up everyone
the sun arose!
And as the pinks
in the sky begin
to turn to blue
I am summoned
to the balcony
to join in
in crying out
It cannot end!
but with the sun
or last day began
and soon we'll leave
the time has come
But it's not fair!
I should into the breeze
the only reply
is the whispering trees
